Well, sure, but the cover-up is always worse than the crime. Better to fess up and move on. (That's going to be my campaign slogan for my insurgent third Party presidential run.)

Well, it's interesting that you guys were interested in what I do for a living...perhaps we should have a thread where we put that specifically...might help with networking...if someone has a question about something they can look on the board and see who specializes in that and ask them a question...sound like a good idea? Let me know and I'll add the thread. Of course, Carolyn's MyFace suggestion is a good one...as is LinkedIn....and both could serve the same purpose.

MB,
I like your idea of a special thread where it is ok to be curious. Those who want to stay private can stay out of danger and curious people can ask questions, and maybe get an answer.
I don´t really know what networking is, but I am guessing it has to do with the right connections. Like if I needed a nursing job in the States, someone could recommend me. Is this correct?

Yeah, but once you get over 20 stone, you feel like, "Why bother?" But once you get over 20 stone, you have to bother for health reasons. Oh well, I didn't get there overnight, so I don't have to fix it overnight.

I have a year. 8)

MB, that's funny...I think of that trip whenever I've gone three days without real food, stand outside in the freezing rain, sleep in train stations or see the abandoned odd sock or umbrella...

Pear Juice...can't say I've had any since that trip. And for those who may be contemplating a backpack trip to no-where Italy during Easter weekend...please reconsider.

Good times though...good times.

"no-where Italy" indeed. It was Monterosso, part of the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site we were slumming around in my friend.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinque_Terre

Yes, it rained that second day and yes, we left early because of it, and yes, we spent the night on the hard bench in the train station...but that next morning it was sweet sweet pear juice all around, a beautiful sunny day, and a patch to pitch the tent overlooking the sea. MY cup was half full there compadre...

DOES THIS LOOK LIKE NO-WHERE? "Reconsider" my ass! Sign me up again!

Carolyn, I was referring to the 14 months until the reunion. As for the other, I'm already on it. I believe in better living through chemistry. I'm not a salad kind of guy. I'm a Texan, and I want my beef, dammit!

So, MB, is the reunion after the one here in Dallas in no-where Italy?

Your an Atkins diet guy then. Eat all the beef you want, but no potatoes

I feel so stupid, I didn´t realize it had to do with the reunion

*sigh* We don't eat beef without taters. If it's a ribeye or porterhouse steak, it's a baked potato. If it's chicken-fried, either mashed potatoes or fries. So, better living through chemistry. :D
