MrB,
But I meant it when I said he looked adorable. You both did.

And the 85ers I seem to meet here more than my own gang. :)

Actually that has not changed for the young ones, only the style. My 14-year old nephew spends money and time getting his hair to stick out in the right directions. Now, the men my age meaning some of you guys, do not want all the trouble so you take a machine and get it real short and there is nothing to set. My guy just did it really really short, but now he is trying for a beard. Haha.

Next question is to the 85 ers. Who was the king and queen in 85?

I believe Moose was king and Margie Neary was Queen...

Moose,
Let´s see if something turns up. If you do not have any photos of yourself as king then it could really be fun if someone out there does.

Does anyone have a photo of King Moose and his Queen???

Hahahaha....in my imagination meant it was a fantasy. hahahaha....I think it was Thyen and Neary in reality. It is pronounced (Thee-en, not Thy-en). Rog hates it when his last name is mispronounced.

mr bill, you sure give tony a ton of *&^% for someone who was a prom prince. you all know it's all about the guys, right? i mean really the prom queen was tony, and the princesses were mb, mike, steve, ray, etc. it's all about the dude. so roger thyen was 85's prom queen. margie was just his escort in the pretty dress.

well, i didn't get any argument from mr bill, so i've run out of steam. proms are a funny thing when one thinks about it. i learned when i got to the states that ours were decidely low key compared to the effort made in this country. holy moly! and i think lots of times they are held in the school gym. ours were always held in some downtown fancy hotel, on an island, the kugler alm, etc.

Yeah, but how many people can say they went to Venice after the prom?

Every coupe of years when someone is bragging about how fancy their kid's after prom party was, I drop that one on them.

Chris, couldn't agree more...I pull the same comment out and use it once in a while just to see the reaction it gets. It's always an envious one!
