Since I missed graduation I have a couple of questions: Who was prom queen in 1982?
Was it a really fun party?

Just wondering... Carolyn

The '82 Prom was held at the Hilton Hotel in and around the Englischer Garten. Dawn Phinney was the queen. Here's a link to a thread with her class picture...look for the third "Mr. Bill" post, her pic's in there.

After the prom, many of us piled into a bus or two and headed to Venice
for the day. Couple of those pics posted in and around that '82 "Then" pics thread too!

Yeah...ain't he cute being all kingly and all...work it baby...work it! He ruled with an iron hand, that's for sure. A benevolent dictator though, all in all.

Here's that pic in case others couldn't find it...

If you take a close look...you won't see a tiara on my head, but...I might have the boutonniere lying around though.

Now I see that Dawn is Thee Dawn of "train of thought" and a young Mr.Bill stands at your side as a knight of the royal court with the fair maiden Susi also a known figure from the book. You all look lovely. I do not reconize the others unless one of the girls is Pam who I remember was a pretty and popular girl. I would not be surprised to see her there. Only she wore glasses when I knew her.

Yep, that's the four of us from Train of Thought. That pic was taken about two weeks before we left Munich. The rest of the folks in the pic are from L to R:

Kellie Hunt ('83) Steve Sanders ('83), Susi, Mr. Bill, Dawn, Tony,
JoAnn Hurley, Michael Hoessl (all '82), Gina Stapleton ('83), and Ray Houle ('83).

Mike is the only one I remember. I did leave 3 years before it happened.
But it is really fun to see the photos. I saw the ones with Mark too.

What's interesting about that picture is the guys look like they spent more time getting their hair ready for the prom than the girls did. There sure were a lot of big hair at that reunion.

I can't speak for the others, but for my part you couldn't be more correct. Looking back on it I can't believe the amount of time I spent working on that haystack.

Actually that has not changed for the young ones, only the style. My 14-year old nephew spends money and time getting his hair to stick out in the right directions. Now, the men my age meaning some of you guys, do not want all the trouble so you take a machine and get it real short and there is nothing to set. My guy just did it really really short, but now he is trying for a beard. Haha.

Next question is to the 85 ers. Who was the king and queen in 85?
