this is good news for those of you who were as fundamentally moved by the reunion as i was, and who are struggling ever so slightly with the readjustment to life "as it was" before the event.
the good news is: 20 year-ish reunions are the magic years. i heard it from mrs. felker (wendy, timmy, jennie's mom) and she works for the reunion committee of some gigantic HS in arlington, VA. she said you don't have to bother with the 10 or 15 year reunions and all that, because it happens at 20 years and after. you come to some place in your life that makes the magic happen all over again.
so there we go!

I knew there had to be some rational explanation.

JoJo,

Cool theory, I like it...gotta say I think she's onto to something...I think you can throw in there that around that 20-ish milestone, most are fast approaching that 'other' milestone...the big 4-0. Reflection kicked into overdrive.

Personally...I didn't get bit by the nostalgia bug too badly until then...and it was the convergence of those couple of things that helped lead to this particular MAHS board...and ultimately to D.C. 07.

And now...my family has banned me from talking about any of it until August!!! I guess I wore 'em out!

thank god for the board. it gave this little lost lamb a place to come home to. and as a 39 year old grad from 1985, i was dead on for all those milestones. and i feel them acutely. it's all good. all those milestones are good, good stuff.

Hey Jojo
The forum Gave all us lost lambs a place to call home.
When I left Munich I just didnt leave a school I left a way of life behind.
MAHS was more then a school, and poeple cant even imagine our way of life. Thats way I will never miss another reunion. Thanks to all who planned the DC 2007 reunion. You gave us back a little of Munich even though it was for a short time it will last a long time in our memories.

THANSKS AGAIN...
