Hey Billy

I checked with the AOSHS before the reunion and they do NOT have any MAHS stuff. We are still hunting for it. It doesn't sound like they are really open for business yet, either. Might be a good idea for a few years down the road, though.

Billy--
I live in the Kansas City metro area and Wichita is about 2 1/2 hours away. There is not a big airport any closer than that. Just something to think about.

Thanks for the info.. however, I would vote for SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS!!

Maybe I will look at setting one up in the future.....

We got the riverwalk, ALAMO, Guenther Bakery house, Six Flags, Sea World... and the list goes on. Many Germantown’s to visit for day trips... etc... Big Airport, cheap flights (Southwest).

Just thought I would throw that out there.

Erika,

San Antonio is always a popular choice, and I know that at least one reunion has already been held there. Also, there are a lot of alumni living in the area, so I'm sure getting firm commitments from many would not be an issue. Furthermore, having been a Texas resident, I can attest to the fact that SA is a great city.

That said, however, I've never been to Cincy, and would love to have an opportunity to visit. It is very centrally located, and has a very heavy Western European influence both in architecture and food, from what i'm told. I don't know much about the place, but what I've garnered from the net over the past couple of days has charmed me to no end!

I to would like to have it in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. I live In Beaumont ,Tx so that would be a hop skip and jump for me. But we have to go with majority. And Everyone so far has said Cincy. We have three years to do this so Nothing set in stone yet......

Who knows its likely to change . Dont ever know with our crowd..

You know as our football manager we had to listen to you. And I would ,but we have to think about everone else about the location.....

Will put SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. Up to be voted on...

Billy

Kris brings up an important point. If it's not easy to get to, people won't come. DC has the option of 3 airports relatively close which allows you to get the best airline ticket price possible. And you didn't have to rent a car to get from the airport to the hotel......

Cincinnati is a major airport hub - well, it's actually in northern KY - but that's just semantics. There are quite a few hotels nearby, and I'm sure there is at least one that can accommodate a large group. It's a fairly easy city to get around in as well - and definitely cheaper than DC.
