To Tony, Mr. Bill and the rest of the Reunion Organizing Committee---thanks for all the time, money, effort, and overwhelming thoughtfulness all of you provided in planning and executing such a fabulous event. :D

Your attention to even the finest of details (ie. the small envelope of printed event tickets and drink tickets) as well as the Goodie Bag FULL of stuff was impeccable. The Munich Memories Book was worth the price of admission in itself, along with the mini-packet of Gummi-Bears. 8)

Presenting Tony with the replica, nearly full-scale Elephant was priceless and having the paint available for everyone was truly inspired.

The PX and Munich memorabilia (Locker included) was comprehensive to say the least.

It was great to finally meet up with John Wagner after all these years (34 to be exact). And many thanks to Christine Z for hooking us up in the first place. 8)

Congratulations again on such a great turnout---everyone went home with more stuff than they came with and a ton of great memories.

The only downside is: It will be very hard to top what you have accomplished. :D :D :D :D :D

Here is link to some photos taken during the event:

Dennis,

It was really nice to meet you. Glad you had fun. Your pictures are terrific! I might ask you to email me a few for the slideshow if that's all right.

Hi Dennis, after all our chatting before the reunion, it was nice to meet you! After all, its a pretty neat link that we share.... having gone to Munich Elementar, knowing people in common, and then ending up at the same university (in the same German class at that!!!!) yet never having met until this weekend..... You took a lot of nice photos that captured the reunion very well. I agree with your commentary on the success of the reunion. Thanks for making the trip to D.C. to party! It took some courage to do that and I hope you felt welcome, in the Muencher Gemuetlichkeit! I'm glad that you met up with John Wagner and that you made some new Munich friends, too!

See you at the next one!

Christine

Yes I will try to look you up if I am ever in Ohio. I do travel to Indiana sometimes to visit family in the Columbus and Fishers area of the state. I really wish I could have made it. I talked to Lauri and she said everyone had a blast. What good memories for everyone.

Dendo,
Wonderful pictures... Saw a lot of familiar faces... but without the benefit of captions... I've been pouring over my yearbooks doing some detective work of my own!

Man, I couldn't even recognize everyone from my class!

Gives new meaning to the name Anonymous85

Let me know if you get to Louisville, I would love to come and see you again.
My sister is in Georgetown, not too far from there. I am about 2-2.5 hours away.
