At the reunion, several people told me they travel to the Outer Banks, NC for vacations! Just a reminder to let me know if your going to be in the area!

If anyone is interested in hanging out with me I'll be in Phoenix Arizona from July 5th or 6th through the 8th. I've already made plans to get together with Lisa while I'm out there. If anyone else will be in the area, feel free to join us. I'll have Ramona (Mona Valentine) Winder with me along with my mother and daughter as well.

Of course I got a separate room for my mother & daughter since I planned on going to hang out. I'll be graduating from the University of Phoenix while I'm there.

Hey, that is completely unnecessary...!

The pics I took today are here http://picasaweb.google.com/lobstah4/MunichNovember2007... I'll try to be good at adding. I am meeting a work colleague at the Deutsches Museum tomorrow afternoon, but if the weather is decent I am going to go by the old homestead 'on the way'...

and congratulations! i love the reunion story about you and john. i know he wasn't there, but it start there, sort of, right?
my friend kate got back together with an old munich boyfriend through the reunion, albeit indirectly, like you and john. now they are happily in love too. it's very sweet.

It is very cool JoJo! We are hoping for a wedding the early part of next year. Just got to get John (and hopefully his kids!) here to KC! He is working on a job transfer (amongst other things) by Feb or Mar. I have never been happier! It is hard to believe we have known each other since the 7th grade! We dated for about a year + in 1982 until I came back to the states. We can't wait until the 2009 reunion! We'll have to show the wedding pics! We will definately let everyone know on the board when the wedding is, just in case any MAHers want to come join the festivities! Thanks to Dwayne Henderson for remembering John's email address from 10 years ago! for getting John and I back together! Only God could of orchestrated such a deal! My brother (Tony) was there to witness John's proposal to me on my birthday! It was absolutely unbelievable! Let's see how many other "connections" can be made at the next reunion! LOL

Likewise... if anyone gets tired of the cold and snow this winter and feels they need to defrost a little ... come on out to Arizona -- would be glad to have some company and show you around!!

I am going to be in Tahoe the end of January. Going out there for a convention. I have never been there so I am looking forward to it. Don't think my knees could handle the skiing though! Too bad 8) . Too many years playing catcher in softball. Is it as beautiful as Garmisch? Probably not. It will be like when I went to CO for the first time (thought it would remind me of the Alps!) what a let down! LOL
