To those who may find this interesting,
If you go to www.mahsreunion.myevent.com you will be able to see some people from the past in my album.
It would be fun to hear if anyone reconizes somebody.
In the sixth grade picture I see Marinne with brown vest,Jojo in orange sweatshirt left of the sign and Donnie with eyepatch.
On ms. Foxes picture Sandra Uloa is top left next to Marianne. I think it is Donnie with the purple nr. 10 shirt.

I have to send a greeting from my sister Marianne who lent me the pictures of the two classes.

Is that Moose in the back row, far right of the 5th grade photo? You're right, that does indeed look like Donnie G. with the bandage over his eye, and I'll damned if Jojo wasn't always freakin' adorable!

Carolyn,

The only other people I think I recognize are Lawrence Mende and Mark Lessman, who are in the back row, 3rd and 4th from the left. Mark (the alleged puker) is wearing the red "Playboy" shirt. The fellow on Donnie's right (back row, 4th from the right, to us), I believe is some guy whose last name is Hoffman. I think he was our goalie during DYA soccer. It's difficult for me, since I was not around when they were so young. As that was the 1978-1979 school year, the photos were likely taken in late '78, and I only really got to know many of them the summer after the 1980 school year. What a difference a couple of years can make at that age.

Ralph

I would really like to see some graduation pictures since I missed out. I mean, I graduated in danish school but the culture is different. Now I see what some of you look like in my sisters class in 79, it would be fun to see later stuff.
I am really enjoying checking in and chatting a bit.
It seems to me that class of 85, are friendly people.
Like I said, hope more people send`pictures.

Carolyn,

If you go to this thread on the board:

http://munichamericanhs.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=13

look for the Class of '82 discussion and the Sherri Wright collection. Both have quite a few pics of the class of '82 graduation ceremony.

Have fun!

Tony

sorry it took me so long to reply, carolyn. had a computer crash.
ok, re: schul-land-heim. exactly translated it means, school-land home. but it really means boarding school. we did go there for a week as a project to bring the german and american school children together. alas, the germans hung with the germans and the ami's with the ami's. i do remember dancing with one hottie by the name of "thomas" (a german boy), my first slow dance. i couldn't get enough of that! so i was definitely doing my part to bridge the cultural gap. :P
it was a fun break from the ordinary.
and thank you both for calling me adorable as a 5th grader. that was pretty much the end of my cute years for quite a while. adolescence, ugh!
how did you two end up in danish school?

That is definitely Donnie in the purple shirt. He and I were best buds when I lived there. Know what Sandra Uloa is up to? Did you go to school with Abby in the pics? She is my sister.

Moose,
Did not see your reply until today so sorry for the very late answer, but yes, Abby and I did hang out sometimes. My first year in Munich we played around alot in my back yard as you can see. How is she?? Say hello. I wonder if she remembers me. Show her the pictures sometime.
As for Sandra Uloa, My sister really would love to find her. We recently found some of their " spy on the guys notebooks" and laughed so hard we got tears in our eyes. I have a "Looking for Sandra" post here but no luck so far. But it took me 3 years to accidently happen upon this website so we must be patient. Sandra was half German, maybe she is still in Europe.

Carolyn
