I don`t really know how this works yet. But I just logged in and now I am trying to find old friends. Michelle Scott, Jimmy Zima, Peter White, Mary Pickering,Lynn Davies, Lisa and Kate Kugler, Mark Dominck and his wife Susie, Randy, David, John K, Kimberly. You all had three years more than me. I moved to Denmark,so like I missed you more than you missed me.
But hopefully I am not completely erased from your brains.
I am a nurse working as an alkohol abuse counsler(followed in dads footsteps) I`ve lived with my boyfriend Michael for 21 years and we have a funny daughter of 7 years old. We live in a house from 1776 that needs lots of loving care.I`m 42 years old so I haven`t seen you all for 28 years.Jimmy Zima visited me 17 years ago and disappeared completely.
I am waiting excitedly.

I was too young to have known you, but did you have a brother named Skippy? Red hair and freckles? I think I was in the 4th or 5th grade at the time. Sorry if I am wrong, but the last named triggered a memory.

Hej Rpoole,
Did I get your name right?
You are absolutely correct. Skip lives here in Denmark too, near Odense, the city where Hans Christian Andersen is from. You know "The Ugly Duckling"....Anyway
Skip lives with his girlfriend Jonna and they have a son of 1 year,David Ziggy.
He is taking a degree in Multi media.I know you do not know me but it is nice to hear from someone who knew Skip.
He cut off his curls but still has the freckles. :D

Wow! A real blast from the past. I remember Skippy clearly. I'll have to search through old class photos I have hidden somewhere. I'm sure he would be in one of them.

Glad you found the forum and good luck finding your friends!

Carolyn,

Welcome to the board, always nice to see a class of '82er find their way here. Your last year was my first at MAHS and I was probably under everyone's radar that first year. I found you in the '79 yearbook and the recollection came back to me.

Most of those folks you mentioned in another thread: Michelle, Susie, Mark, Lisa Kugler...etc. were with us two months ago at the D.C. reunion. It was a nice time.

If you don't hear from folks after your public posts, try sending them a private message thru the board...that works well. Enjoy the board, post often...and bring others here!

Take care.

Tony

Thanks for the warm welcome. I think I remember you but I have to find my year book. It is in a box somewhere.
I sent Michelle a message so now I patiently wait for her to go on line.
I am a bit obsessed with all this right now so I can bearly wait to get out of work and go surfing on this site.
Our time here is different so now its 5pm ,on the east coast I think 9-ish.
I really am finding out right now how much I missed my american highschool years. Bye for now.

Hi there!
I believe we were friends way back in 7th grade! I left the summer after (1977) and then returned for my senior year. Course you were gone by then. I seem to remember camping out in your backyard! And didn't you live next door to Ronan Brown, or something like that.

Hej Alison,
Yes I remeber you! Go to the photo albumns, and you will find mine! I believe you were in some of the pictures, if not let me know, cause I will send them in. Rowan, was a name I had almost forgotten, but I found a letter from him and it all came back, he camped out with us. I remember we got in trouble because my mom found the girls in the boy tent, LOL.
Tell me where you are and what your doing. Finally I am hearing from a 82 er who I hung out with. It is wonderful.

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
I'm pretty sure you were in my 6th grade class (Mr. Franzen). You had red hair, too, didn't you? So you ended up in Denmark? How cool. I have Danish ancestry on my father's side, they were from Charlottenlund. I went to Copenhagen a few years ago and really enjoyed it. It was cool to see my name everywhere (Jensen is a common name in Denmark, as I'm sure you know). :D I'm going to try to make it up there for the Copenhagen Jazz Festival this year.
