This was originally posted by Marika Waiters on another thread...thought I'd post it here as well:

There is a great forum out there at this site:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MunichAmericanHS/

However, it is by invitation only. You must contact Andy Steitz, who is the moderator at acsteitz@yahoo.com to be invited.

We have been organizing reunions for some time now....mostly in Vegas LOL We are currently trying to organize one in FL, so more east coaster could make it.

There is also a site at www.mahs.tk, which is currently undergoing maintenance. This site had/has lots of pictures from the last three reunions, I think. There are quite a few on the yahoo site as well.

I think I posted a while back that there was another site at www.mahs.tk. Well, this site was never updated. However, the "new and improved" site is at http://www.mahssite.com. Please register. The big discussion is about the reunion this year. We (a few of us on the east coast) are really pushing for Florida this year. Vegas has been done so many years now...
I'm a little biased only because I am in GA and I wouldn't be able to do Vegas this year...but Florida is just a hop skip and a jump for me! LOL

Anyhooooooo, check out the site. Register. And of course vote on the reunion!!

PostPosted: Fri Jan 28, 2005 11:15 am
Greetings -

We have a web site for grads from the mid-70s (http://www.myclasswebsite.net/forums)... similar format. Please send any of our strays over that way and we'll try to do the same for y'all.

We're having a reunion in Ft. Worth June 10-12 to celebrate the 30th for the Class of '75. Typically, we get a lot of other 70s-vintage alums attending, which is great... it was a small school.

Cheers

Here's another site that appears to have been started earlier this year. It's just pics and it doesn't look like it has been updated in a while and you have to register, but it's got some good powderpuff cheerleader pics from the late 80s:

I just found out the following about this website:

Quote:
Most of us in this group don't know Robin Munari as she graduated in
72 or so and also attended Heidlberg High. Robin until recently
maintained a Munich High webpage that a few of us were listed. Within the
past month or two, the site came down which got me to wondering if it was
due to her medical condition. Unfortunately, that is true and there isn't
anymore the doctors can do for her.
The Navy threw a retirement party for her last month at a nursing
home, so it shouldn't be too long before she isn't with us anymore.

I believe she lives in the Maryland area. Besides working for the
Navy, she taught tennis, sailed the seas and is a certified deep sea
diver.
She and I have had many online conversations over the passed few
year and always found her to be so upbeat, even when she found out
about her
illness. She truly had the Munich High School Spirit and probably
still does.
I think her surgeries were performed at the Georgetown Medical
Center. If they can't fix you, nobody can.

I have left word , for when the time comes, where notes of condolences
or flowers can be sent. When i punched her name up online, there is some
parish church that she belongs to in Maryland, and she has been on
their 'pray for the sick' list for some time.

Anyroad, if anyone has the time, a thoughtful prayer and maybe a
lit candle would be in order. She was a member of this group at one
time, but I don't know if she cares to bother with it now, but Robin,
if you are reading this, please know that I/we care for you and will
be praying for you, and I wish I could visit with you.

Robert

I concur, I was registed with them back in 96 or 97. Lately many other sites have come about but I give much credit to Ray and Gilda for keeping 'us' together, THANKS!
