Hi Mark and Melanie!

Mark... you STILL have your mustache!!! :D Don't know if you remember homecoming of Junior year, but I requested that you shave your beard and mustache off before I would accompany you to the dance (NOT very nice of me and I am sorry about that!! ), but you very graciously accomodated my demand (?) as any true gentleman would... Anyway, it suits you well!! :)

Melanie, I do not know if we were in school at MAHS at the same time, but you and Mark look so happy together!! Your boys are handsome! Seems like there are many happy classmate couples from Munich American HS ~ very fun!!

Thanks for sharing your pictures! jennie

PS ~ I worked for your Dad, Mark, at AAFES as a summer hire both summers that I lived in Munich and he was a nice boss... I still recognize his smile!

Thanks Jennie...the mustache comes and goes, depends on how steady my hand is while I am shaving in the morning :? . The boys take after Mel (she arrived at MAHS mid-year of our Junior year).

I do think it ironic, how we seem to have landed on our feet and doing well. I am watching my two teenagers grow up and every once in a while, I pause and think...did I do that????

Anyway, I have shared this link with Judy and my folks (some worked with Mom at the Commissary), so they will get a chance to see how we all turned out.

Mark,

Great family pics! I can see you and Melanie in your boys (and some of Judy too!). Glad your folks are doing well. Where did they end up retiring?

Should we take from your choice of avatar that you worked that little after school job in Munich (that I almost lost for you, if you recall!!) into a career??!!

Talk to you soon.

Tony

Judy,

You look beautiful as always. It would be great to see you at one of the reunions. What happened to your clan? Siobhan Smith came one year to Vegas and so did Jessica Anderson with Jerome Katrenick. Caroline & Rachael Rosio, Mary Christopher, Amanda Dix, Halyna Shepko and I all still keep in touch. We are trying to find Tina Dawson too. Next year they are planning a reunion to Munich in the summer 2006.

Kim, How is Halyna Shepko? I will never forget her. We met in Algebra. Ricky Pervel, and I, and Halyna, whom we nicked Madonna, because her hairstyle reminded me of Material girl, (see her 85 yearbook photo.) It wasn’t until she sang at graduation that I realized how appropriate that nickname really was.

This message is really old. Haven't seen it before. Yes, I know Halyna and I am in contact with her. But as I stated: My mother told me never to talk strangers................ :) Sorry.
