In an effort to get things up in a more timely manner (part of my new years resolution I haven't broken yet), here is Jojo's pic she sent just today.

Well, look at you! I'd recognize that ever-so-slightly mischievous smile anywhere. And shipboard? Awesome.

The hat threw me off a bit at first, but I'll never forget those eyes...

welcome back to the board, phil! ok, so you and ralph were wondering about the circs of the pic: on board a 450 ft sailboat crossing the atlantic. Kate Lee took the cruise to do a celestial navigation course and i went along for the ride. it was absolutely awesome! there is nothing like the beautiful blue ocean and nothing else for 12 straight days. Loved it!

Hi JoJo,

Sounds like a fun trip. How do you just do nothing for 12 days? :? So, if you know where Kate is, she must know where Steve is. I lost track of him. I think the last time I saw him was about 8 years ago. I thought Kate lived in the Northern VA area. Any intell? Will Kate be coming to the reunion too?

Mary

hey mar,
ok, here's the scoop: steve lives in Kathmandu with his wife sholeh. they had a kid last summer--boy. they are there with the state dept. have been in nepal for a year or so now. or two?
i will get his email from kate and pass it on to you. have tried urging him to sign on here, but perhaps you'll have more luck than i did. do you have rob green's info? i tried to get it from steve, but he's stalling....
kate, thus far, is refusing to come to the reunion. but i will continue to harrass her.

I think Kate & I live in the same neighborhood, can you confirm if she lives on, or near, U Str NW? Maybe on Wallach Str? I'd be curious to find out just how small the world is...

hey lu
was just about to write all this in email, but this is just as well. kate lives right near U and 13th, and the bar we were in was Bar Pilar (i think that's how its written) and i'm sure you've been there before. cute, trendy, not SO pricey, etc. and i think i've actually been in your furniture store! That is kate's hood and we are all over it all the time. I'm going to forward your info to kate and annie, if that's ok?
